How to dress your man

Good afternoon lovelies

 

You can't deny that when a man walks into your office wearing a well thought out outfit that it grabs your attention. You then think to yourself who's the woman behind the man that picked that outfit out!

I'm am not trying to say that all man need help in the wardrobe department, but some men are hopeless and need an extra hand from a female perspective.

So how to dress your man?

Firstly you can’t make it all about you!
He probably won’t like it and will accuse you of being ‘controlling’.
When shopping for work outfits think about what his job position is, what presence he would like to make, what his favourite colours are, what style suits him best and what is your budget.

Once you have taken all of the above into consideration you then need to hit the shops to see what is available.

For example if your man is a public servant, in a APS 3 level position, works in a policy section, likes bright colours and comfortable pants, and your budget is around $400 then the perfect place for you to start is at the YD store in the Canberra Centre.

Wow how fast has October gone! It is actually incredible how fast this year has flown by.

So many months of so many incredible outfits.

 

My favourite outfit on a man is black on black on black. It is defiantly the sexiest combination a man can wear.

Yes that's right, that means black blazer, black pants, black shirt, black belt and complete the look with black shoes!

This outfit is sexy, smart, sophisticated and really makes a strong first impression.

Yesterday we travelled by jetski to Cloud 9, where the famous Cloud Break surfing location is. This place was amazing! A two deck floating island surrounded by beautiful coral reefs.

Continuing on from my Playing Checkers post, today's post gives style advice to keep your man on trend by dressing him in check print.

 

The key to wearing Check is to make sure that the squares stay straight and not distorted. Therefore loose and square fitted silhouettes work best with this print.

 

Check out the Canberra Centre's YD store. They are currently selling the Caine Shirt featuring the check print trend for men's wear. The shirt is a checked roll up shirt with a regular fit, featuring a narrow collar and back darts. I have layered the skirt over the Vinton Tee and paired it with Rex Super Skinny Jean and Minos Casual Shoes.

New York, Paris and London Fashion Weeks?

 

Lanvin, Emilia Wickstead, Dolce & Gabbana and Tommy Hilfiger were just a few who presented top-to-toe looks of the check print.

The key to wearing a check print is to make sure that the silhouette of the garment, where it is check printed fabric, is square fitted. The print is most effective in a square fitted silhouette as the print is not distorted by the curves in your body.
