Not so Tuesday blues....

Keep Calm, it's Tuesday!

Tuesday is the perfect day to brighten up the work place with a bold colour.

When you wear a bright shade of blue it can make you feel happy and confident.
Blue is a masculine colour and is considered beneficial to the mind and body.

Todays outfit is from the YD store in the Canberra Centre.
It captures the very essence of the colour blue.

Hope you love it! Love TWD xo

How to dress your man

Good afternoon lovelies

You can't deny that when a man walks into your office wearing a well thought out outfit that it grabs your attention. You then think to yourself who's the woman behind the man that picked that outfit out!
I'm am not trying to say that all man need help in the wardrobe department, but some men are hopeless and need an extra hand from a female perspective.
So how to dress your man?
Firstly you can’t make it all about you!
He probably won’t like it and will accuse you of being ‘controlling’.
When shopping for work outfits think about what his job position is, what presence he would like to make, what his favourite colours are, what style suits him best and what is your budget.
Once you have taken all of the above into consideration you then need to hit the shops to see what is available.
For example if your man is a public servant, in a APS 3 level position, works in a policy section, likes bright colours and comfortable pants, and your budget is around $400 then the perfect place for you to start is at the YD store in the Canberra Centre.
You'll be keeping an eye out for an outfit that creates a strong presence, looks professional and defines his own personal style. The YD store has many choices with an extensive selection of colours, styles, fits and trends.
Below is a YD outfit that captures the essence of a hard working office man who is looking for a promotion. The blue Kuma slim fit dress shirt adds a pop of colour to the office and when paired with the grey Karl Dress Jacket,  personalises the outfit to his style. Put it with the comfy black Darval Chino's which are stylish and slim fitte and complete the outfit with a Fierce Dress Belt and Hampen Dress Shoes.
Hope you all have a lovely day. Love TWD xo

Check Mate

Morning Lovelies

Continuing on from my Playing Checkers post, today's post gives style advice to keep your man on trend by dressing him in check print.

The key to wearing Check is to make sure that the squares stay straight and not distorted. Therefore loose and square fitted silhouettes work best with this print.

Check out the Canberra Centre's YD store. They are currently selling the Caine Shirt featuring the check print trend for men's wear. The shirt is a checked roll up shirt with a regular fit, featuring a narrow collar and back darts. I have layered the skirt over the Vinton Tee and paired it with Rex Super Skinny Jean and Minos Casual Shoes.

This look is more casual but can still be worn in the working environment. Hope you all are 'checking' this print out. Love TWD xo

Greyscale 007

'The name is Bond, James Bond'

The modern James Bond (Daniel Craig) style suit is back.
This season saw tight black and grey suit’s all over the runway.
It is a powerful look and has a certain charismatic charm.

Let's be honest some men need help when it comes to the wardrobe department.
So lead your man in the right direction and take them shopping at the YD store in the Canberra Centre.

YD’s philosophy is ‘YD. is isn’t just a store, it’s a lifestyle'
Which is exactly right, the garments they produce are affordable and good quality.
And whether your man needs work shirts and pants, casual clothes or a suit, the YD store is the best place to start looking.

The outfit below features YD’s FoxSuit. The suit jacket features a single button closure, welt pocket at the chest and jet flap pockets at the hips. The suit pant features a zip up fly, side angled pockets and welt pockets at the back. I have accessorised the suit with the Peace Slim Fit Dress Shirt, Ladras Dress Beltand Malvern Dress Shoe.

You can also check out the online store at:
Hope you all have an amazing Friday. Love TWD xo
