QT

Goodnight lovelies

Don't you love the matching short suits that have hit the shops lately?
It's a refreshing take on a fitted suit, looks professional in the workplace and is a perfect outfit for this coming summer!

The cameo carry-on blazer is affordable and can be purchased at Soho and Momento Dezigns. The style and navy colour is very modern and when paired with the cameo all alore shorts and life with bird paradise top make a perfect outfit.

You'll see below other styles of this season's silhouette as featured in this months vogue below. The cut of the sleeves are edgy, dramatic and functional.

I hope you love this outfit and jump on board and buy a short suit. Love TWD xo

Four Seasons, One Day

Morning Lovelies

Wasn't yesterday a perfect example of how Canberra can have many seasons in the same day?

It started off being warm in the morning and ended up being one of the coldest nights!

It makes it nearly impossible to choose an outfit right?
Because in the morning it is nice and warm so you put on a gorgeous spring dress, but by the time you leave your office in the afternoon, you are frozen stiff and need pants, scarf, jacket, beanie and whatever you can get your hands on!

So being a Canberran you need to be smart.
In my cabinet at work I have a spare coat, shoes, scarf and umbrella.
I used to be one of those lucky ones that had a car park underneath my building, so it didn't really matter what I wore as I never went outside!

So how to wear an outfit that suites all seasons?
Start off with a gorgeous spring dress, like the Flying North Frock - printed in Tulips from Pure Pod. Pair the dress with a white blazer (to protect you from light winds).
Bring a coat with you as well because you can easily wear it over your outfit or carry it over your arm.

And lastly check the weather app so you can prepare for what may come.

Hope you all have an amazing long weekend! Love TWD xo

Geometric Prints

How do you wear Geometric Prints to work?

Firstly you need to shop around to find the print you like. Shops like Cue, Sportsgirl and Zara are currently selling easy to wear dresses, shirts and pants in all kinds of different geometrical prints.

Once you have found the print/garment you want to work with (mine is a dress from Sportsgirl as seen below) you need to look at the tones within the print. I've style my dress with a white blazer and belt and black gloves and boots (all from forevernew). The accessories accentuate the print and make the dress the focal point of your look. I love this look because it is modern, feminine, and gets
lots of compliments from colleagues. Love TWD xo
