Let’s be honest, in the public service it’s not uncommon to have regular fortnightly morning tea's.
I personally love them! Who can resist the delicious choice of sausage rolls, slices, biscuits, donuts, banana bread and those delicious little things with cream on them,
It makes me hungry just thinking about morning tea!!!
Today I have brought you a fresh idea for those people that are time poor, like to keep it simple, and impress their work colleagues at morning tea.
Chocolate and Strawberry Butterfly Cupcakes
All you need to buy is a packet mix of chocolate cupcakes, Betty Crocker’s vanilla icing tub and some fresh strawberries.
How to make it:
Follow the recipe on the back of the packet mix until the cupcakes have cooked and are cool.
Cut the top of the cupcakes off (the bulging part) and slice that piece in half (see picture below, this makes the butterfly wings).
Start icing the cupcakes with the vanilla icing from Betty Crocker. Make sure the layer is thick enough to hold the weight of a strawberry and butterfly wings.
Place the strawberry on top of the middle of the cupcake and put the two sliced pieces of muffin top on either side of the strawberry.
Taaaa daaaaaa you have scrumptious Chocolate and Strawberry Butterfly Cupcakes!
Hope your cupcakes turn out as well as mine did. Love TWD xo
